Shakib overtakes Tamim as Tigers’ leading T20I run-scorer

Shakib Al Hasan becomes the leading run-scorer for Bangladesh in the fourth T20I during the fourth game against Australia at Mirpur yesterday. He surpassed Bangladesh ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal to become the leading run-scorer in the T20I format. 

The all-rounder started the day on 1,692 runs, only nine behind Tamim Iqbal's haul. He surpassed Tamim to become Bangladesh's highest run-getter during his 15 runs scored against Australia in the 4th T20I. Shakib so far scored 1707 runs with an average of 23.70 with the bat in T20Is with a strike rate of 123.51. He has nine fifties to his name. His highest score is 84 runs. Read more
