US sees over 100,000 new cases in a day

In the last 24 hours, 573,616 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus around the world while 7,490 died from the pandemic. The United States has seen the highest number of deaths from the pandemic and infections during the period. The country registered more than one lakh COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours.
As of Saturday morning, a total of 45,921,698 people has been diagnosed with the virus worldwide, as the death toll rises to 1,193,909 while 33,252,218 patients have recovered, according to worldometers data.
