Daily global COVID deaths, infections rise alarmingly

In the last 24 hours, 459,020 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus around the world while 7,028 died from the pandemic. The United States has seen the highest number of deaths from the pandemic and infections during the period.
As of Wednesday noon, a total of 44,252,677 people has been diagnosed with the virus worldwide, as the death toll rises to 1,171,479 while 32,447,505 patients have recovered, according to worldometers data.
