Babri Mosque demolition case: All accused acquitted

A special CBI court in Lucknow on Wednesday has acquitted all the accused in the case of the historic Babri Mosque, gave the verdict after a long 28 years.
According to the Times of India, the judge says the demolition was not “pre-planned”.
On December 6, 1992, the century-old Babri Masjid was destroyed in an attack in Ayodhya. This led to violence all over India. 1,800 people were killed in this. Read more
